The X-ray Diffraction Laboratory in the Department of Geology and Geophysics is equipped with a Rigaku Diffractometer installed in 1993. The diffractometer has one sample holder. The system is controlled by a PC. X-ray diffraction patterns can be digitally manipulated using the program JADE. Spectra can be exported as EPS or TIFF files.
